Welsh flag Glyn Hir Golf Club, a picturesque, 18 hole golf course situated in Carmarthenshire, South Wales, UK

Glynhir Golf Club

The Club was formed nearly 100 years ago and was originally located in Llandeilo, some 10 miles from its present location. It is our centinary in 2010.

In 1967 the Club moved to its present location and became GLYNHIR GOLF CLUB.

The Golf Course is located at the foot of the Black Mountains in an area of outstanding natural beauty.

In addition to the beauty of the area, there is an abundance of 'wild life', where you could see otters, badgers, foxes together with a wide variety of birds, including red kites, herons, buzzards and many other species. This makes a visit to GLYNHIR GOLF CLUB an even more enjoyable experience.

Within the vicinity, there are a number of visitor attractions for those who may not wish to enjoy the 'golfing experience'. The National Botanical Gardens at Llanarthne is only a short drive away and the Brecon Beacons and Gower Coast National Parks are within a half hour drive.
